Map to Home – Step Two

So I got to work a little early today and I checked my websites and things and guess what? It was Squidoo payday! And I received a little over $5! Don’t really think that will help much! Last year I was making close to $100 a month from Squidoo! So that’s one thing I need to be sure to work on.
As I mentioned yesterday in Map to Home Step One I need to earn about $167 a day to reach my goal of $5000 a month. Now Tiff does a lot of things, I have selected a few to add to what I already do and what I plan to focus on is the following:
PLR- I have a shop set up at PLRMom.com - I’ve had it for a while but used to have to handle everything manually, then one time I missed someone’s order. She was really sweet about it and I gaver her a free pack for her trouble, but then I shut it down, I hate to think that someone paid for something and didn’t receive it in a timely manner. So I’m going to automate it using DLGuard, but DL Guard requires about a $150 investment and as I’m in the middle of trying to close on our house that will have to wait – look for PLR Mom to open sometime in September. But just because it’s not open for busienss yet doesn’t mean I can’t start writing packs to stock the store with. At $5 for a PLR pack I’d need to sell 34 packs a day. But so as to not put all my eggs in one basket – I’m making a goal of 20 packs a day, or $100 a day off of PLR (some reports will be more than $5). I will be going through Tiffany Dow’s PLR ATM to help me re-set up my store and get things moving.
Affiliate Income from Tangibles (like Amazon) and Digital products (like from Clickbank). These will be marketed through my various blogs and Squidoo. I am hoping to earn about $34 a day through this avenue. Which is basically one digital product and a few tangible products. This will be achieved through Squidoo pages (approximately 4 new pages a week) as well as blog posts, properly written, with good key word useage. It’s been a while since I was good at that sort of thing, and with all sorts of changes in Google and such, I will likely need to find a good source to assist with that. I am still a member of Bring the Fresh, so I may print out the newest version of their Fast Start Guide and walk through it. No sense in killing myself to learn all the changes if those guys are willing to just give me the info since at Bring the Fresh once you are a member you get free updates for life! (Woo hoo!)
I also make and sell jewelry. My husband is actually an artist and a jeweler, (www.KatishtyaTrails.com) but I got into making chainmaille jewelry and viking knit chains out of silver. If I find the time to make them, I tend to sell them. My basic sterling silver chain maille bracelet sells for $250 and I’ve sold two of the three I’ve made so far. The third one is in a jewelry store and will hopefully sell soon. Of course the silver costs me in materials (something I don’t have to pay for my other income activities) so I will need to make and sell about $2000 worth of jewelry (about 9 bracelets) a month in order to end up with the $1000 I need to round out my $5000 a month income.
So that gets me to my income goals, but how will I get those other things paid off? Well, another page from the Tiffany Lambert playbook – I will start ghostwriting. I used to do some ghostwriting early on in the day – actually I bartered for it – I would trade my ghostwriting for online memberships that I wanted but couldn’t afford. But this time around I will charge for my services. There is a ghostwriting course I have already purchased that I will use as my blueprint for success, but not until after I get my PLR store up and running. That way I will have plenty of sample material to show prospective clients. I plan to start this phase of my income generation in October. The money I make from ghostwriting will first go to pay off debt and start saving. Once my debt and savings goals are met then I can count this income towards my monthly income, but not until then.
